Near 1000 teachers from HuaDu District, Guangzhou, took a silent protest at the district’s Government Square on 1 January. The teachers requested for a better remuneration. <\/p>\n

This protest was organized over the Sina Blog<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Apparently, this news was sanctioned\/ignored by the China’s MSM. I am not able to find a news post on any major Chinese portal site. According to a discussion<\/a> on the China.com, the original blog post which initiated the protest was deleted by Sina Blog. <\/p>\n
